Le Clos Bernard cuisine: wood-fired grills and local produce
Our cuisine is based on a simple promise: authenticity, quality and pleasure. Eating at Le Clos Bernard means enjoying a unique setting in the 3 Valleys, but also and above all tasting good products that are enhanced through simple, gourmet dishes.

Respect for local, seasonal produce
As you can imagine, the stars here are our products! Our establishment favors local, seasonal produce, especially from producers with whom the founding family has a personal relationship.
Among our favorites are La Dent du Villard salted meats from Bozel and Caves d'affinage from Rognaix. Our rigorous standards guarantee a menu that's always just right, both generous and authentic.
A varied menu to suit all tastes
As soon as you enter, you'll discover the woodsy flavors of our wood-burning fireplace with our now-famous escargots. If you're more into tradition, we recommend Mamie Gisèle's fine morel mushroom tart with slices of Beaufort cheese.
Our specialty is wood-fired grilling, a skill that sublimates exceptional meats and appeals to lovers of mountain gastronomy. Beef flank steak, lamb mice, pork chops, chicken supreme, Kobe beef... each meat is carefully selected with you from trusted suppliers.
Our menu also features regional dishes such as tartiflette, raclette and fondue. Real Savoyard institutions made from 100% local cheeses.
Finally, to round things off on a high note, we recommend our great classics: tarte aux myrtilles, bugnes de mamie Gisèle or our dessert board, to share or not, depending on your sweet tooth.
Every winter lunchtime, up to 400 guests gather in the warm, woodsy atmosphere of our restaurant. Whether it's a rib-eye steak to share, a skilfully prepared piece of lamb or a creative vegetarian dish, Clos Bernard makes it a point of honor to delight every taste bud.
